On Friday September 22, 2012, NLP Properties, LLC completed the purchase and closed on the 90 acres that is known as The Brickyard project. This now completes the zoning by the City of Phenix City.
The Brickyard will serve as a hub for the tremendous opportunities being created in the area. This project represents the future of growth here in Phenix City and the entire surrounding area. New businesses will create new employment with both construction and permanent jobs.
The Brickyard will mark another milestone in creating economic vitality along the Chattahoochee River without costing the taxpayers.
With the whitewater course attracting new visitors to the region, The Brickyard plans to complement their visit with first class year-round entertainment, dining, and lodging. The Brickyard will create more than 1,500 jobs, according to Phenix City officials.
